Bernice State Park is located on the northwestern corner of Grand Lake. Known as the "Crappie Capital of the World," the park also offers fishing for largemouth bass, white bass, channel catfish and bluegill. Visitors will find semi-modern RV sites and tent campsites, comfort stations with showers, boat ramp, courtesy boat dock for loading and unloading, picnic areas, playground, one mile paved walking and jogging path that is handicap accessible, two wildlife watch towers, swimming and a Nature Center.  View Park Map.

Located in northeastern Oklahoma on the shore of Grand Lake, Cherokee State Park offers four park areas: Lakeside and Grandview located near the Pensacola Dam, Riverside and Grand Cherokee is located below the Pensacola Dam next to the Grand Cherokee State Golf Course and are known for great fishing. Amenities include picnic sites, a group shelter, campsites, comfort stations, lighted boat ramp, and a 9-hole golf course. Lakeside Area has a swimming beach, picnic sites, a group shelter, campsites, restroom with showers, playground and lighted boat ramp. All water sports are allowed on Grand Lake.  View Park Map.

Extremely popular for its wealth of recreational activities and its abundant fishing opportunities, 46,300 acre Grand Lake is one of northeast Oklahoma's most popular vacation destinations.

The southeast shoreline area of Grand Lake O' the Cherokees, just two blocks from Disney, is the scenic location for this two park area. Disney State Park area is located by the flood gates of the magnificent Pensacola Dam. With the only boat ramp in the area, 20-acre Disney State Park is a popular site for bass fishing tournaments (as well as all watersports), and offers picnic areas, a group picnic shelter, a small playground, a lighted boat ramp, and 45 tent/outdoor camping sites.

The 12.5-acre Little Blue State Park is located below the spillway, another fine fishing site as only fishing boats with small trolling motors are allowed. There are a few picnic areas and 35 tent/outdoor campsites available. Both are excellent locations for the avid fisherman.

Disney is a good starting point for a Grand Lake getaway. Friendly merchants provide a good selection of camping and water sports equipment. Grand Lake vacationers can stock up on everything they need - from fishing tackle to picnic supplies. Shoppers will also find gifts and groceries as well as boat sales and service.

Honey Creek provides access to Grand Lake for fishing and boating. Facilities include 30/50 amp RV sites, 150 primitive sites, paved interior roads and RV sites, lighted boat ramp, picnic areas and two covered group shelters, outdoor grills, comfort stations with showers, dump station, a playground, swimming pool (open from Memorial Day to start of school), a courtesy boat dock for loading and unloading, courtesy fishing dock, and fish cleaning station.  View Park Map.

Twin Bridges State Park is known for its quiet country atmosphere and excellent fishing for trophy-sized bass, catfish, bluegill and spoonbill. A fishing center with bait/tackle, snacks and enclosed fishing dock is located within the park. Lighted boat ramps, picnic facilities, RV and tent campgrounds, lake huts, playgrounds, volleyball court and horseshoe pits are also available. Picnic facilities include tables, individual shelters and group picnic shelters for larger gatherings. Campsites range from semi-modern RV sites to tent camping and comfort stations with showers. The park offers one-room lake huts with electricity, ceiling fans and screened windows inside; grills, tables, water and restroom facilities outside.  View Park Map.
